Applications are now open for 2026/27 applications.
We are happy to announce the next GBE Foundation high school scholarship competition. The applications are due Sunday, January 25, 2026. If you would like to study in the U.S. during the 2026/27 school year, please send the following information to applications@gbefoundation.org:
Your one-page curriculum vitae/resume
Scans of all your high school transcripts (including January 2026 which can be sent after the deadline)
Two-page essay in English, font 12 or smaller: “Who am I and why am I the right person to be selected to study in the United States?" Please do not use AI.
Conditions and Criteria
Applicants should be in their first, second or third year of high school in Slovakia
Proficient in English
Above average grades
Extracurricular activities
Tenacity, resiliency, ability to solve problems
Desire to become a leader
